Well it was time to get the old incubators out and hatch some new stock for the holding - they havent been used for a couple of years And as can be expected the 1st one had a heat fault and the 2nd had a fan fault - the 3rd was faulty any how So the plan was born to make one out of the 3, the 3rd was the best design also the sturdiest and had auto turn so a real bonus this was to be the main frame to build off the heater was removed from the largest and a thermo controller was ordered from ebay This was to be a real low input incubator so i went for a good controller to what i wanted and for peace of mind The heater was fitted and tested the fan rebuilt from the one that was already in this unit and the controller arrived on time for a quick test After faffing about with the instructions which were mostly in Chinese i went back to google to find out the polarity of the diagram and hey presto it lit up and started working Then came 50min of setting up of the program in the controller to the settings i wanted and tested I had to find a small electrical box to fit the controler in to which was in the womble store and added a standalone thermometer + hygrometer to the top for added reassurance | |
